Wednesday, October 4 is the last day to withdraw from classes without penalty. Tuition for the full year will still be required for any cancellations after this date.
End of First Quarter
The first grading period ends Friday, October 27. Tuition for second quarter is due to teachers by Friday, November 3. After the due date, a late fee of $10 per class will be applied.
Registration for the 2018 prom is now open. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 14 at the Lansdowne Resort and Spa, and the theme will be “The Nifty Fifties.” Students have the option to pay for tickets in two installments of $35 each by November 10 and January 12. Or they may pay the full $70 by January 12. After that, registration will remain open until March 30, but all payments will be due in full at the time of registration. Students must be 14 years old by September 30, 2017 in order to attend. Additional details will be sent by email.

HEARTS Sealions Varsity Swim Team
Come join the one and only varsity swim team for homeschoolers in Virginia for teens age 13 and up. We currently have three local meets along with one travel meet for the homeschool championships in NorthCarolina. Our season is from November 6 to the end of February. We practice twice per week on Monday and Thursday mornings from 7:30am to 8:30am at Claude Moore Recreation Center in Sterling.
Online registration is open now until October 31. Register at https://heartsforthelord.org/lions-sports/. The cost is $150.00 per swimmer. The team is open to all swimmers 13 and up who can easily swim 50 yards. We prefer those who can swim all four strokes, but it is not required. If you are currently a club swimmer and you would like to join, please email Sally Burkley (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you need flexibility in the practice schedule. Yearbook Cover Design Contest
Calling all artists!! Submit cover designs for the HEARTS yearbook! The theme is the “Rock Through the Ages,” and each design must include a Bible verse, “HEARTS,” and “2017-18.” Please submit front and back designs on 2 sheets of 8 ½ x 11- inch paper.
